It was a bittersweet revelation when Black Sabbath fans heard about The End Tour. Bitter because it was going to be Black Sabbath’s farewell concert tour; and sweet because fans in the cities around the globe will get a chance to see one of the greatest heavy metal bands of all time perform live for one last time. The band first release the news about the tour and initial tour dates in a video posted on their YouTube channel back in September 3rd, last year. Additional information and dates were announced the following month. Like in the band’s previous tour, Tommy Clufetos will step in for Bill Ward, the band’s original drummer. Ward left the band because of animosity with Ozzy Osbourne, the band’s lead vocalist. Other members that will be on tour with Black Sabbath include Tony Lommi who is the band’s lead guitarist, bass guitarist Geezer Butler, and Adam Wakeman who plays keyboards and rhythm guitar. The band members have promised fans a concert tour unlike any that they have done in the past. The tour has also been set to coincide with the launch of an 8-track EP by the band; the EP is called The End. The EP will only be available during the tours shows.
